Join ENSEA after a scientific preparatory class

Students from MP/MPI/PC/PSI preparatory classes enter ENSEA through the Centrale-Supélec competition. 

At the end of the written tests, candidates can be:

• Students eligible for ENSEA: They are then exempt from the oral exam and retain their rank obtained in the written exam.
• Eligible for ENSEA: They must register for the oral exam and choose a date (between June 27 and July 10) by connecting to the dedicated platform (opening June 17 at 14:00 p.m.).

Oral exams: They take place at ENSEA over half a day and include three tests:

• Mathematics: The test lasts 20 minutes, and is preceded by 20 minutes of preparation. It includes two different exercises.
• Physics: The test lasts 20 minutes, and is preceded by 20 minutes of preparation. It includes a course question and an exercise.
• The test lasts 20 minutes, and is preceded by 20 minutes of preparation. Candidates must present a text summary and a structured commentary based on articles published in the English-language press during the current year. The independent speaking time is 10 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of answering questions.

Those who are eligible must also take the TIPE test.

Students from PT/TSI preparatory classes gain admission to ENSEA through the Arts et Métiers Paris competitive entrance exam. (ENSAM), which brings together 4 schools: Arts et Métiers ParisTech, ENSEA, ESIEE Amiens and ESIEE Paris.

COMPETITION REGISTRATION:

• Directly on the website of the Engineering School Competition Services, from December to January.
  • PT students register for the Arts et Métiers Paris Tech competition within the PT Bank.
  • TSI students register for the Arts et Métiers Paris Tech competition at the Centrale Supélec bank.

Students from ATS preparatory classes join ENSEA through the ATS competition which takes place on the campus of ENSAM, Arts et Métiers Paris Tech.

This competition offers more than 541 places in one of the following 39 schools:

Registration for the competition is open to students enrolled in the ATS class during the current school year.
