It was in her first year of high school that Amélie discovered the quantum physics during an experiment presented in class. It was a revelation for the high school student, who then decided that she would make quantum physics her career.
The first in her family to undertake higher education, it was her teachers who introduced her to preparatory classes. She joined the Lazarists and then Fénelon Sainte-Marie, before choose ENSEA as a school, attracted by the telecommunications, a field where quantum physics plays a founding role.
During her studies at ENSEA, Amélie stood out for her strong involvement in associations. She presides Confer'ENSEA, an association dedicated to the public speaking arts, and with the help of a team of nearly thirty members, it organizes the second edition of the TEDxENSEA, inviting experts on various subjects. She is also a member of the BDE.
In anticipation of her 3rd year, Amélie is taking steps to create the first double degree in quantum physics from ENSEA, determined to pursue her passion. She then joined the M2 QLMN (Quantum Light Materials Nano sciences), carried by theParis-Saclay University and common to the various engineering schools on the Plateau de Saclay. She then successfully completed her master's degree before beginning her Ph.D., in the same laboratory where she carried out her 2nd year internship and its PFE: the LOA.
Two and a half years later, we find her in the MT 180 final, what a journey! As part of his thesis, entitled " Ultrafast dynamics in diamond NV centers subjected to a magnetic field ", Amélie seeks to seek to detect very weak magnetic fields, such as those issued by the cancer cells. For this, she uses a guide slightly purple, capable of emitting flashes that space out over time when the surrounding magnetic field increases. The final challenge is to be able to detect cancer cells at an extremely early stage.
This Monday, Amélie thrilled the audience and the jury by presenting her thesis, and won the 1st Jury Prize unanimously!
Congratulations!
