How to leave?

To obtain their degree, ENSEA engineering students must complete a minimum four-month international mobility period. This experience can take the form of an internship in a company or research laboratory abroad, an academic semester at one of our 140 partner institutions, or a dual degree program.

Enriching the training course through international mobility

During their studies at ENSEA, students are key players in their international experience. They have the opportunity to choose the type of mobility that best suits their desires and professional goals:

  • Internship abroad – in a company or research laboratory
  • Academic semester – exchange at a partner university or school
  • Double degree – qualifying stay at a partner university or school

These experiences can be combined!

ENSEA provides financial support for its students' studies abroad through scholarships. To qualify, students must submit an application to the International Relations Department, which assists students throughout the process. External assistance is also available through European agreements, conventions, and/or support from regional organizations and institutions.

A Grande École open to the world

International openness and diversity have been part of our values since the school was founded. Our network extends across the world and has more than 140 partner establishments and 300 international exchange programs.

At the end of their training, 100% of ENSEA students have benefited from international experience.

Throughout their course, they are supported in their efforts by the International Relations department, which individually monitors each student before, during and after their mobility period.

ENSEA internationally

Exchange semester: mobility on demand

ENSEA offers more than 140 partnerships around the world!

Regardless of the chosen period, students receive courses at their host institution that are equivalent to those offered at ENSEA. It's also the perfect time to explore other fields or methodologies!

International mobility can take place from the 2e year of training (during the 2e semester) and throughout the 3e year.

The credits obtained at the end of these courses are then transferred to ENSEA in order to obtain the Engineering diploma.

Where to go

Obtain a double degree from a foreign university

Every year, many ENSEA students go abroad to obtain a double degree at a prestigious partner university.

This opportunity is open to ENSEA engineering students from year 3 onwardse year of training. The duration of a double degree can be 12, 18 or 24 months, depending on the destination chosen (it is therefore sometimes necessary to extend the course of study by a few months).

These dual degrees are a major asset for engineers in the job market! Not only do they offer companies a dual skill set, but they also allow them to acquire highly valued openness, multiculturalism, and linguistic fluency!

ENSEA offers more than 30 dual degree agreements around the world!
